My best Easter memory is from 1972, when my parents thought we’d spend Easter at a water bed store for an Easter Egg Hunt promotion. Our young family of 4 walked into the water bed store in search of the ‘golden egg’. I remember it being a 5 minute hunt and I, the 5 year old, found the ‘golden egg’. I distinctively remember the unhappy faces of the sales associates, but before I knew it they were loading my QUEEN SIZE WATER BED into our groovy van. I was probably one of the only kids in elementary school with a water bed; but it quickly ending up in our spare bedroom. My heart was really set on that Sears canopy bed …instead! Oh, how I love Easter!
We won’t have an egg hunt, but we will have a brunch to remember! Start out with one of our fresh squeezed OJ Mimosas or a refreshing peach puree Prosecco Bellini
