Jolly Roger – Maritime Brewing, Seattle, WA – 8% abv
Pours a dark, ruby brown. A low aroma does nothing to announce the HUGE flavor hidden within. Big, honey and biscuit malts with a substantial sherry wine presence, similar to some barley wines. Hops contribute perfumey and spicy layers to the flavor.
